Questions people ask
Do I need an account to sign?
No. Upload a document, sign it and download it without creating anything. An account becomes useful for the $29 Lifetime plan, for sending signing links, for signatures that follow you between devices, and for a dashboard and a verification ID someone else can look up.
Where does my document go?
Nowhere. The file is rendered and signed in your browser and the signed PDF is built there too — it is never uploaded to us. That is also why we cannot re-send you a file you lost: we never had it.
Is a signed bill of sale enough for a private car sale?
The signature itself is legally valid, but registering a vehicle usually needs more than a contract — most jurisdictions want the title transfer done on their own form, sometimes notarised. Check your local DMV equivalent before treating a signed PDF as the whole transaction.
