Merge PDF files — without uploading them

Drop in two or more PDFs, put them in the order you want with the up and down arrows, and download one combined file. It all happens in your browser, so the documents never leave your device.

Questions people ask

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. The files are read and combined by your browser using pdf-lib, and the merged PDF is saved straight to your device. Nothing is sent to us, which you can confirm in your browser's Network tab while it runs.

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?

There is no set limit. Because the work happens on your own device, the practical limit is your computer's memory — dozens of ordinary documents merge without trouble.

Does the merged PDF have a watermark?

No. Merging, splitting and rotating are free and add nothing to your file. The watermark only applies to free downloads of documents you sign.

Can I sign the merged PDF?

Yes. After merging, a button takes the new file straight into the signer without uploading it again.
